Marcus Harris Poetry Fellowship
We're pleased to announce the launching of the Marcus Harris Poetry Fellowship. Established by our founder, internationally renowned poet and philanthropist Marcus Harris, the fellowship is designed to encourage young poets to pursue further writing and publishing efforts.
One (1) $500 fellowship is awarded each cycle based on our committee's evaluation of the poet’s writings and other community-based endeavors.
Our Inaugural Fellow
We're proud to announce the winner of the inaugural Marcus Harris Poetry Fellowship is B.J. Burgins!
B.J. is a poet, essayist, and short story author who's been writing for more than 15 years. His writings touch on profound social, cultural, and political themes, and he's not afraid to address controversial topics affecting our shared humanity.
We're excited to have B.J. as our newest Marcus Harris Fellow, and we look forward to helping him nurture his promising literary career.
